I had always wanted to go to an American style Drive-In Cinema ever since I saw Grease as a child, but I’ve never had the opportunity, until now!
Last month, the Drive-In Movie Experience opened at Chepstow Racecourse and we are showing a selection of classic films over the summer including The Original Italian Job, Top Gun and the film that sparked my fascination with outdoor cinema, Grease!
How does it all work?
If you’ve never been to a Drive-In Movie Screening you may be wondering how it works. Our friendly stewards show you to your parking spot in front of a large screen then you just tune your vehicle radio to the film frequency and it’s as simple as that!
Alternatively, you can hire radio headphones on site if you decide to sit outside your car, pop to the Bar or Diner for refreshments.
Prices are the equivalent of a cinema ticket with Adults £8, Children £5 and a Vehicle of 5 £25. It’s a great evening out with friends, family or if you are on a date.
You can also get FREE popcorn and drinks by become a DIME member on our website.

It’s something fun and quirky. People want to do something different. They want to see a movie in a different kind of atmosphere rather than going to the cinema all the time.
So, come on down and experience this novel al fresco style of watching iconic films like Dirty Dancing and Pulp Fiction on a big screen from the comfort of your own car and you can always bring your own blanket.
