I thoroughly recommend exploring Wales in December. The sun, low in the sky, bathes the winter landscape in a warm glow echoing amber hues. Snow-capped mountains glisten in the distance. Restaurants and tea rooms boast toasty log fires so that, in-between sightseeing stops, I recharge with well-deserved hot chocolate or fresh coffee.
